Almost every shinobi in the world wears a forehead protector as a sign of respect and devotion to their native villages. Although it is a forehead protector, you might have seen some ninjas wearing it on other body parts, such as Rock Lee or Gaara, respectively wearing it on their waist or gourd. In Yugakure, the Village Hidden in Hot Water, the headband is a cloth strip that measures about 98 centimeters with a metal plate, that’s 12x4cm. The symbol that you’ll find on the Yugakure Headband is three slightly inclined traits. Ninjas like Hidan comes from Yugakure as you can notice on his headband. The difference here comes with the slashed symbol (a sign of disagreement against the village). Hidan did not agree with the direction his village was taking with pacifism and decided to leave instead.
